Amrish is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than nine years of private equity experience.
He is head of Unlisted Equity Transactions at Futuregrowth Asset Management, overseeing the origination and exiting of investments across a wide range of industries.
He also serves on various portfolio company boards.
Paul Jackson is the founding CEO of TUHF (Trust for Urban Housing Finance) where he has overseen the financing of over R4bn of inner-city affordable residential property and established himself as the foremost expert in financing South African urban rejuvenation.
Paul has a wealth of experience in development finance holds board directorships on the Johannesburg Social Housing Company and Centre for Affordable Housing Finance in Africa. Paul was also a National Rowing Coach, attending four Olympic Games.
He coached the Olympic Gold winning Coxless Fours at London Olympics in 2012.
Louis is the co-founder and CEO of the Atterbury Group. Under his leadership, Atterbury has grown into the largest commercial property developer in South Africa, with offices in Pretoria, Stellenbosch, Ghana and the Netherlands.
Louis also co-founded Attfund, a South African shopping centre fund which merged with Hyprop in 2009, as well as Attacq Limited, the driving force behind Waterfall City and Mall of Africa in Midrand.
Louis has won a number of awards such as the Christo Wiese Medal for outstanding entrepreneurship from the South African Academy of Science and Arts and Business Leader of the Year Award from the Capital City Business Chamber.
After starting his career in finance, Rian transitioned into real estate – building the Ithemba Group into one of the leading affordable rental housing providers in South Africa.
In addition to being CEO of Ithemba Group, Rian is also the co-founder of Circlevest Securitisation and executive director of Ithemba Group Investments – a property investment company that holds investments in companies worth over R2bn.
Rian is a board member of the Johannesburg Property Owners and Managers Association (JPOMA) and has held board positions on various inner-city improvement districts.
Brian has over 17 years' experience in the commercial and industrial property industry since starting his career when he joined Syfrets as a property finance banker in 1997.
Since then he has been involved in the property industry in a variety of forms: he headed up structured property finance at Nedcor Investment Bank Limited from 1999 to 2003; he represented Nedbank as a non-executive Director on the board of Sycom Property Fund (from 2001 to 2004).
He then left the bank to join Zenprop Property Holdings (Pty) Ltd in the capacity of Managing Director from 2004 to 2007 and finally, before joining Genesis Properties (Pty) Ltd in May 2010, Brian was the Regional Executive in charge of the Gauteng Region of Nedbank Corporate Property Finance. Brian now heads up RMH Property as CEO.
Ilaria Benucci joined CDC Group in 2013 and is currently Head of Construction and Real Estate (“CRE”). In this role, Ilaria is responsible for CDC’s equity investments in Africa and South Asia in the CRE sector. Current portfolio includes logistics, hotels, mixed use developments and residential.
Ilaria joined CDC from AIG Global Real Estate where she was responsible for investments in emerging Europe, Russia and Turkey. Before AIG, she spent over 10 years at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development where she was leading the Property and Tourism team.
Blaize is a real-estate-focussed investment banker, with 17 years’ experience in Real Estate, Property Finance and Investing.
He is a Principle in Nedbank’s Property Partners team, where he has worked on a variety of property investments in the retail, hospitality and commercial property sectors, as well as unlisted property funds.
Gustav is a co-founder and shareholder of the Ithemba Property Group which co-owns and manages property to the value of over R3bn and employ over 500 staff.
Ithemba co-founded the Divercity Urban Property Fund whose core focus is to develop well-located and amenity-rich affordable rental housing precincts close to where its occupants work. Gustav is the Joint Group CEO focussing on Operations and Property Management.
With over 25 years’ experience in the property and hospitality industry he brings a wealth of property management, development and hospitality skills to the group. Gustav holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and is s a keen runner and mountain biker.
Mr Mutle Mogase is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the financial and investment markets. Having started his career in internal audit, financial management and banking, he co-founded a private equity firm in 1998. The firm evolved into Vantage Capital in 1999 and raised its first Private Equity fund. In 2006, Vantage Capital launched the first independent Mezzanine fund in South Africa, which was to become Africa’s largest, independent Mezzanine funds manager. Mr Mogase left Vantage Capital in 2016 to run family investments.
In December of 2019, he cofounded Maia Capital Debt Impact fund, launched in June 2020 and is currently in process of raising the fund. Over his career spanning over 35 years he has been involved in a number of regulated businesses and has held a number of directorships and appointments in regulated businesses including:
Mr Mogase’s family has been an investor in various other sectors including mining, manufacture, technology, retail, life assurance and agriculture. Mr Mogase holds a BComm degree (Accounting) University of Cape Town, Executive Development Progamme - City University of New York, Diploma in Corporate Gorvenance - Graduate Institute of Management Technology.
Lucille Louw is one of the longest serving executives of the Atterbury Property Group and is responsible for the asset management of the group’s existing portfolio. Atterbury currently has R43bn worth of assets under management in South Africa, Europe and Mauritius.
Her career spans over 20 years in the industry and she continues to be actively involved in the creation of new ventures in the industry. She is however also the very proud mother of a 7 year old son, Christiaan.
